How To Use This Generator
① Fill in the Fleet Details

Fill in the fields in the top panels — fleet name, ship type (Orca or Porpoise), pilot name, and your mining boost, shield boost, and compression ranges in km. Under Current Activity enter what's running right now: homefronts, moon mining system, or belt mining location. Leave anything blank and it will show as None active in the output.

② Check the Etiquette Toggles

Under Moon Mining Etiquette toggle on or off whichever rules apply to tonight's op. You can update the moon system name, corp tags, and buyback contract name if needed. The live preview updates instantly as you make changes — what you see is exactly what will appear in EVE.

③ Copy the MOTD

Hit ⬡ Copy EVE Markup to copy the coloured version — this is what you want for in-game.

Copy Plain Text is useful if you just want to read or share the MOTD outside of EVE, such as in Discord.

④ Paste into EVE

In EVE open your fleet channel → click the speech bubble / MOTD button → in the editor click Source at the bottom → select all existing text and delete it → paste → click Save.

Your MOTD will now display with full colours for all fleet members.

⬡ Tips
Plain Text vs EVE Markup
Use Copy Plain Text for sharing in Discord or reading outside EVE. Use Copy EVE Markup for in-game — this is what gives you the gold, cyan, red and green colours.
Updating mid-session
Changed location or pilot? Just update the fields, hit Copy EVE Markup again, and re-paste into the MOTD editor in EVE. Takes about 30 seconds to update.
Reset button
Hit ↺ Reset to clear all fields back to the Hideaway Hunters defaults — handy at the start of a fresh fleet op.
